Ashai is blessed. Ashai is a blessing for lovers of the most powerful longbows
A wild bow with a real punch. Maximum reflexed limbs and a forward grip. Plus a massive heavy riser. Everything for maximum accuracy. In my offer, a unique bow profile inspired by Asian short bows. Its shooting performance is very captivating and attracts a lot of attention even among lovers of reflex bows.
The bow riser is made of black fiberglass and hard exotic woods such as Shedua, Zebrano, Jatoba, Ipe, Wenge, Maple, Ash, Acacia, Black Walnut and others. The wood is pre-cut into slices and re-glued after sanding. This achieves its higher stiffness, stability and damping ability. Reinforcements made of colored fiberglass and effect pearl casts made of epoxy expand the possibilities of configuring your bow even more individually. Before painting the wood of the bow riser is surface stabilized with epoxy and then the entire bow is painted with several layers of matte 2k PUR varnish.
The limbs are made of a weakened core made of bamboo or other light woods and various types of laminates. The thickness of the limb core is individually calculated for each bow with regard to the required weight of the bow. The belly of the bow can be black or decorated with wooden veneer.
SCX (Single cross carbon) has carbon on the back and fiberglass on the belly.
DCX (Double cross carbon) has both laminates made of 100% carbon.
Each Ashai comes with a glued velvet rest, Dynaflight 97 or Spectra 652 string, Angel Majesty center serving and wool silencers.
Ashai bows are made in these lengths:
- 64″ for max. draw length 29″ Recommended brace height is 7,25″ to 7,75″
- 66″ for max. draw length 31″ Recommended brace height is 7,50″ to 8,00″
Ashai fulfills all requirements for competitions in longbow class under WA and HDHIAA associations.
Competition-style bow riser
To maximize the bow’s weight and stability during shooting, the riser of the bow is designed to be as solid as possible. Combined with the predominant use of fiberglass laminate even in the grip section, the total weight of the bow reaches approximately 2 kg depending on the model and overall configuration. In addition to increasing the weight, this also improves the strength and stiffness of the bow’s riser. From the archer’s perspective, the sight window is covered with black laminate, so there is no need to cover the wood grain with adhesive tape before competitions.
Two-piece bow
At the archer’s request, the bow can be divided into two parts during manufacturing. This is useful for easier transport, especially by plane, bicycle, or motorcycle. The bow’s joint is axially secured by two pins, and the bow’s draw force is transmitted via an M10 screw. This type of joint is reliable and precise over the long term. It allows for a fully formed grip. It does not allow for a leather grip cover. The stainless steel joint components increase the bow’s weight by approximately 60g.
